Los
Arqueros Par 72 6,460 yards
In the last 2 years, new owners have invested heavily in the course and
it is now in splendid condition. Designed by Seve Ballesteros and with
great views of the Mediterranean, the courseÕs undulating terrain and
narrow fairways make it a challenging test of golf.
Estepona
Par 72. 6600 yards
One of the most improved golf courses on the Costa del Sol and well
worth a visit. With its tight fairways and long par 3Õs, Estepona
provides a challenging game of golf in scenic surroundings. Great value
for money and normally not as crowded as some of the other Costa del Sol
courses.
Los
Naranjos Par 72 6,708 yards
A very attractive, well laid out course, Los Naranjos is not very hilly
but there are some tight holes through avenues of orange trees, from
which the course takes its name. Designed by Robert Trent Jones,it is an
enjoyable challenge for golfers of all standards.
Torrequebrada
Par 72 6385 yards
An outstanding golf course recognised as one of the most challenging on
the Costa del Sol. The course has hosted the Spanish Open and many other
Spanish tournaments. Winding through the foothills of the Mijas
mountains, the fairways have spectacular views over the sea.
Almenara
Par 72 6,794 yards
Designed by Dave Thomas and widely recognised as his best work to date,
Almenara opened in April 1998 and is already rated among the top ten
golf courses in Europe. Situated close to Valderramma, to which it has
been favourably compared, the course is undulating with spectacular
views over the sea and the Sotogrande estate. Water hazards feature
prominently in the back nine
Parador
Par 72 6,717 yards
The oldest established course on the Costa del Sol. Parador is also one
of the easiest courses to walk, as the terrain is completely flat. In
1999 it was host to the Turespana tournament. The front nine is mainly
parkland while on the back nine you find yourself playing by the sea on
a links course. A very enjoyable and challenging course to play.
Lauro
Golf
A Falco Nerdi designed course which has taken account of the beautiful
surrounding countryside. With nine lakes and an abundance of olive trees
lining the fairways, this course has just the right degree of dificulty
to make it an enjoyable round for most levels of golfer. A wonderfully
friendly club, with a beautiful converted farmhouse for a clubhouse.
Lauro is good value golf.
La
Quinta Par 72 6377 yards
Sited majestically in a prime location, overlooking MarbellaÕs ÔGolf
ValleyÕ, the course is well protected and calls for decisive play and
accuracy. There is a total of 27 holes which can be played in different
combinations of nine hole loops. La Quinta is challenging course which
is best suited to experienced golfers.
Mijas
Golf International
Probably the most popular golf complex on the Costa del Sol, Mijas Golf
International consists of 2 great 18 hole courses.
Los Lagos Par 72 7161 yards
The longer and more open of the two courses. Like all Robert Trent Jones
courses it packs a sting in its tail, and accuracy is required to avoid
the many massive bunkers and water hazards that abound.
Los Olivos Par 72 6490 yards
Shorter and tighter than its sister course, Los Olivos takes its name
from the olive trees which line the fairways.
La
Cala South Par 71 6315 yards
Inaugurated in 1991, La Cala South features target style golf over
spectacular undulating terrain. Like its sister course the North, it is
a great favourite with our clients, requiring accuracy off the tees as
well as good shot making to elevated greens
La
Cala North Par 73 6527 yards
Designed by Cabell B. Robinson, this spectacularly scenic course with
breathtaking views over the South Course and as far as Mijas, is a
challenging one to all level of players. It requiries good shot making
to elevated greens and rewards accuracy rather than power off the tees.
Golf
Club Marbella Par 71 6,450 yards
Inaugurated in 1990 this attractive course provides a challenge for
every level of golfer Ð the first four holes are among the toughest on
the Costa del Sol.
Atalaya
Old Par 72 6,833 yards
Designed by B. Von Limburger, this is a full, well-bunkered course in a
parklands setting which has received a lot of renovation work over the
past few years and as a result, is a highly enjoyable course to play.
El
Paraiso Par 72 6365 yards
Following major course renovation in 1999 this course is now in
excellent condition. Designed by Gary Player in 1974 it has always been
a popular choice, with its picturesque setting. gently rolling terrain
and strategically placed lakes and streams.
Santa
Clara Par 71 6,115 yards
A superb addition to the Costa del SolÕs courses, Santa Clara has been
a huge favourite with our clients since its opening in Summer 2001.
Designed by Enrique Canales, the layout is interesting and challenging
and the condition is always immaculate. The service in the club house is
first class and a shared golf cart is included in the green fee rate.
Cabopino
Par 71 5,687 yards
A great favourite with our clients since its opening in April 2001,
Cabopino is an interesting and varied layout which on many of the holes
rewards accuracy rather than length. Very scenic with some spectacular
sea views and great value for money - a shared buggy is included in the
green fee.
Los
Flamingos Par 72 6579 yards
Located close to Puerto Banus and enjoying spectacular views over the
Mediterranean on undulating terrain, Los Flamingos is one of the newer
courses on the coast. Water hazards abound on this first class course.
Alcaidesa
Par 73 6,538 yards
The only true links course on the Costa del Sol. Since the opening of
the new motorway Acaidesa is now easily accessible . Sea breezes and
heavy gorse ensure that your round will be a challenging one and the
magnificent sea views are an added bonus.
Valderrama
Par 71 7020 yards
The most famous course in Continental Europe and host to the 1997 Ryder
Cup, Valderrama is exclusive and expensive, but a limited number of tee
times are available each day. Immaculatey manicured fairways tightly
lined with olive and cork trees, lightning fast greens and well placed
bunkers and water hazards make for an unforgettable golfing experience.
Rio
Real Par 72 65702 yards
One of the most established courses on the Costa del Sol, as well as one
of the most popular, Rio Real is set a beautiful valley with the Real
river criss-crossing the fairways several times. The greens are slick
and fast and the fairways are immaculately groomed. The closing holes
are as fine as any on the coast.
